Surrounders Series: In this series I examine the relationship between Man and nature, which is so often unbalanced and dissonant. The effects of the environment on the body are often the result of the way Man has misused and abused nature. ‘What goes around comes around.’ I Believe I can Fly and Original Sin: Now we are living in a global environment where the previous delicate harmony between Man and his surroundings has been overturned- with exceedingly unpleasant results- that are not merely physical, but include Xenophobia, racism, greed and hate. A true plague of savage, brutal behaviour that has become a curse. Where does evil come from? Pandora’s Box evokes the mass graves discovered in DRC after military action – the atrocities of war. Behind a leader’s conciliatory smile hides the true reality.
