Whether you already have an in-depth knowledge of collecting Contemporary African and Middle Eastern Art or are new to the industry, we are here to guide you through this exciting process. Our decades of experience working with artists, galleries, museums and collectors allows us to help our clients understand not only the desirability of certain pieces, but also why certain artists and artworks are currently sought after.
Together, we will seek to determine a strategy for your collection by planning immediate and long-term goals, depending on whether you wish to collect extensively in one category or more broadly across different areas of the art market.
We will schedule gallery and museum visits, auction previews and art fairs. In some cases we can also create a dedicated research library for your personal edification, as well as present a series of informal lectures with visuals that allow for a private and relaxed exchange of ideas.
Are you an experienced collector? We can also support the continued growth of your collection. Experienced collectors need a different curatorial methodology, focused on deepening their existing collection with additional key works. Experienced collectors can sometimes fall into a comfortable pattern of repeated collaboration with the same handful of gallerists. While time-honoured art world relationships need to be maintained and strengthened, we also encourage our clients to continually nurture new relationships as artists are constantly moving to, or being shared between new international galleries.
We are pleased to offer our clients the following services.
— Collection inventory: we can input your inventory into a database system that makes it easy to manage and report on your collection;
— Artistic and conceptual decisions: once all the artworks have been inventoried, we can develop an analysis that highlights the key themes and relationships in your collection. We will work to find gaps and suggest artworks that can strengthen and develop it further;

— We work transparently and always ensure that you understand what you are paying for and why, and we explain why some pieces are worth the investment and others are not;
— Supervise artworks transport and shipping, including art handling and custom crating;
— Customs assistance;
